Getting here
By car
From Nancy or Épinal, take the N57 then the D417 to Gérardmer. From Alsace, cross the Col de la Schlucht on the D417. Access to the chalet is cleared in winter, but winter tyres are strongly recommended from December to March.
By train
Remiremont station is 30 minutes away, connected to Paris via Nancy or Épinal. A shuttle or taxi covers the last stretch to Gérardmer. Hiring a car is recommended to explore the valley.
By air
Basel-Mulhouse airport 1 h 45, Strasbourg-Entzheim airport 1 h 50, Luxembourg airport 2 h 15.
