The living room
Under an exposed timber frame, the living room is built around a large corner sofa and a wood stove. Full-height windows open onto the terrace and frame the valley. It is the room everyone ends up in, book or glass in hand.

The dining area and the table for thirteen
A solid wood table seats thirteen in one go, beneath a line of pendant lights. Raclette grill, stone grill and a large outdoor plancha: the chalet is set up for group meals, winter and summer alike.

The open kitchen
Central island, generous worktop, oven, dishwasher, American-style fridge and coffee machine. It opens straight onto the terrace and the view, which makes cooking a good deal more enjoyable.

Five bedrooms, thirteen beds
Four bedrooms with 160 × 200 double beds, two of them en-suite — one with a freestanding bath and a lake view, the other with a shower and dressing room. A fifth room lines up three 90 × 190 single beds and three basins at different heights, thought through for every age. Beds are made on arrival.

The three bathrooms
Freestanding bath, double basins, walk-in showers and heated towel rails. Two of the three bathrooms are en-suite, which makes life simpler when several families stay together.

The hot tub and terrace
A four-person outdoor spa, heated year round, set on the terrace facing the ridges. Alongside it, a large outdoor table and loungers for late-afternoon drinks as the light drops over the lake.

The mezzanine and its cabin beds
Upstairs, the mezzanine holds two 80 × 200 cabin beds that close behind a curtain: the children's den, with its own television, a low table and floor cushions. Below, the living room foosball table is never free on rainy days or when everyone comes back from the slopes.

Who this chalet is built for
Thirteen beds spread across five bedrooms and a mezzanine is not the same thing as thirteen beds in a dormitory. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite, which spares you the first-evening negotiation when two families travel together. The fifth bedroom, with its three single beds and its washbasins set at three heights, was designed with children in mind. And the dining table seats all thirteen in one go: nobody eats at the spare table.
The chalet through the seasons
In winter everything revolves around the wood stove and the ski room: you put your boots on here, walk the 250 metres down to the lifts, and the heated hot tub comes into its own on the way back from the slopes, out in the snow. In summer the south-west-facing terrace holds the sun until evening, the plancha comes out and the lake is five minutes away. In spring and autumn the chalet returns to its quiet self: the season for walking and for colour, with the valley to yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Is the whole chalet rented out?
Yes. The chalet is let in its entirety to a single party: the 200 m², the five bedrooms, the mezzanine, the hot tub and the terrace are yours. It is never shared between separate bookings.
How are the thirteen beds arranged?
Four bedrooms with 160 × 200 double beds, a fifth with three 90 × 190 singles, and two 80 × 200 cabin beds on the mezzanine. Thirteen beds in all, with no sofa bed or camp mattress.
Can you see the lake from inside?
Yes. The picture windows in the living and dining rooms frame the valley and the lake, and one of the two en-suite bedrooms — the one with the freestanding bath — looks out over the lake. The terrace and hot tub face the ridges.
Is the chalet suitable for young children?
The mezzanine cabin beds, the table football and the washbasins at different heights were all designed with them in mind. One thing to know, though: the chalet spans three floors and has steps and staircases, which need watching with very young children.
